SDR PACK IS A SUPPORTING MEMBER OF UNISG

Our collaboration with the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo

SDR PACK has become a supporting member of the University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo (UNISG), a government-recognised private university established in 2004 in the region of Piedmont, Italy.
UNISG was founded by Slow Food with the aim of promoting an interdisciplinary model for studying food, with a view to enhancing national and international food and wine culture. It offers a comprehensive educational programme that allows its students, who come from over 90 different countries, to specialise in agribusiness and, specifically, in food production, distribution and consumption, with a special focus on the sustainable future of the planet.

As a supporting member, SDR PACK will actively participate in university life, supporting research activities and the development of potential new sustainable packaging projects, both nationally and internationally.

The partnership is the result of a shared vision of the two companies, which are very much involved in the food sector and sensitive to sustainability issues.

Every day, UNISG trains students by providing them with the interdisciplinary skills required to become professionals capable of operating in the agri-food sector while respecting the environment; SDR PACK offers eco-friendly and flexible packaging solutions, which are designed to protect and preserve the organoleptic properties of each food product, with a special focus on environmental sustainability.  By participating in university life, the company will have the opportunity to gather new inspiration to develop innovative products and to further expand its know-how.
