SPECIAL EFFECT COATINGS

We have recently introduced in our company a new technology that allows getting different effects, by using a rotogravure coating application: glossy-matt, wrinkled, soft touch, paper, extreme pearlescent, iridescent, shiny silver-mirror and gold-mirror effects.

This trend, coming out from requests mainly in the organic and vegan food industry, is to have a more “natural” packaging to the touch. The FMCG’s evolution and our customers’ requests to develop new eye-catching packages, with a handcrafted trim at the same time, boosted us to study new solutions.

Plastic films with a matt-glossy mix: the matt-finishing process creates an opaque effect, which, combined with the film’s brightness, enables to catch the end-consumer’s eye, finding the desired product on the shelves.
