OK COMPOST INDUSTRIAL certified metallic compostable packaging
A new product added to our range of compostable solutions.
For a long time, SDR PACK has been working on the design and production of compostable packaging, which can be used for separate organic waste collection. Our initial goal was to study a range of different products that could adapt to the various requirements of our customers in terms of shelf life, safety and product preservation.
Today, we are happy to add a new product to our range of compostable packaging solutions, OK COMPOST INDUSTRIAL certified: a metallic laminated film, suitable for packaging in a modified atmosphere.
Our compostable metallic packaging is a triple laminate, the components of which have been individually certified compostable, from the films which it is composed of, to the adhesive, to the inks. This compostable film is suitable for food contact, with the exception of acid foods, with a pH lower than 4.5.
OK COMPOST INDUSTRIAL certified SDR PACK compostable packaging
Currently, SDR PACK has four different compostable packaging solutions that are OK COMPOST INDUSTRIAL TUV certified:
- SDR CB compostable monofilm: suitable for packaging products that do not require a barrier; it is suitable for food contact, with the exception of acid foods. Particularly suitable for frozen, dried or no-food products, this film is impulse-sealed.
2. CFN compostable monofilm: barrier packaging, suitable for food contact. Recommended for light products, packaged in flow pack, this film seals with hot bars.
3. ATM compostable film: laminated packaging, consisting of two layers of film, suitable for packaging in a modified atmosphere. Suitable for food contact, without any exclusion, the film seals with hot bars.
4. ATM metallic compostable film: laminated packaging, consisting of three layers of film, suitable for packaging in a modified atmosphere. Suitable for food contact, excluding acid products, the film seals with hot bars.
