An eco-friendly material

One of the key topics at SDR PACK is sustainability. The company is constantly committed in this sense, designing and testing solutions to provide a tangible contribution to environmental protection.

From this point of view, paper is an excellent ally in the production of eco-friendly packaging. As it is a rigid material, it allows us to noticeably reduce the thickness of the coupled plastic film, by also offering the chance of recycling the paper packaging if this is used in a higher percentage compared to all the plastic films it is coupled with. SDR PACK chose FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes)* as its certified paper suppliers.

An actual solution providing an improvement and a sustainable one also from an economic point of view. If communicated correctly, it can become popular among end consumers, who are increasingly turning their attention towards the green economy.

*The FSC labelguarantees the wood comes from forests managed correctly, in accordance with environmental, social and economic standards.

The PEFC label indicates sustainability in the management of the woods where the wood comes from and the traceability of products made from this material once they enter the market and are processed.
