Recyclable packaging with paper for frozen foods: the innovative package designed for Mobilpesca

In line with company values and the commitment to protect the environment, as of 2020 Mobilpesca has revolutionised frozen fish bag packaging, reducing plastic in favour of recyclable paper packaging. A choice that upholds the desire to reduce pollution, which the Tuscan company has pursued with determination and enthusiasm, performing a few tests on materials with our company, until they found the right solution for their product.

The challenge for SDR PACK was to create a recyclable, high performing package for a sector such as frozen foods, which is potentially difficult to wrap with paper: packaging that maintains its properties, guarantees product safety and with the graphics remaining unchanged even in the freezer.

We passed the challenge with flying colours: the Mobilpesca frozen fish package is recyclable with waste paper and is particularly appealing in terms of communication. Packaging developed through careful research and collaboration between customer and converter.
